There isn’t much better than you kids getting old enough to start going offroading. As a parent you want them to be as comfortable and safe as possible. There’s a lot to think about with helmets, as 2-4 year olds do not have a lot of neck strength. Coupled with rough terrain, they are going to get bounced around.

For day 3, we loaded up and headed to Sand Hollow. Most of the group hadn’t been to this area, which was fun to show them more sand, more rocks, more trails, a few whoops, and really making this a great Southern Utah trip. We covered so much, and there’s still so much more to go back and see.

You can’t hit Southern Utah without some sand dunes, right? Today we rode to Coral Pink, did a little duning, and had a few issues, which altered the second half of our ride. We ended up heading back through the Barracks trail again, which becomes even more fun after you know the turns.
