If you’re like me, you’ve been watching the Speed UTV videos, and it’s exciting to see the Speed gang testing the Diablo, figuring out clutching, suspension, and everything else. I really want to see them start testing an El Jefe 4 seater, because that’s what I am getting, and I’m really hoping they pay close attention to the clutching of the heavier 4 seat car
The top 3 high-performance SxS brands have announced their 2021 model offerings, so we decided to compare each of the “top model offerings” from each company and see how they stack up against each other.
Today we unbox the 57 piece tool kit from BOXO USA. This product is in the high end market for SxS tools, however quality and convenience was not skipped in it’s creation. This kit is tailored to fit the needs of most UTV enthusiasts looking for a simple, lightweight solution that has everything and can be mounted in the vehicle.
Teaser: we predict more value for potential buyers in 2020. Do we think horsepower numbers will increase, as well as suspension performance? Yes, we do. Will we see a “game changer” SxS that will shake up the market? Maybe not. But we do think that the customer will be getting more performance for their money in 2020.
If you’ve been following us on Instagram, you’ve seen some bits and pieces of our (Andrew and I) RZR Turbo 4’s we are working on, to get ready for Camp RZR and desert season, which is basically here, with these amazingly cool temperatures.
After picking up the RZR 4 Turbo S, I joined a group of 12 other SxS’s on a 3 day, 300 mile trip through Northern Arizona, for Labor Day weekend. If you are interested in why I purchased a RZR over an X3.
It’s time to race this thing already! From the chassis builder taking forever, to this becoming a side project due to the sales growth of our product line, it’s taken way too long to get to the fun part: tuning the RZR and getting ready for our first race in October.
Starting off, we chose the RZR platform as we had more access to better deals on the parts. If I started again tomorrow, I’d seriously consider an X3 2 seat platform as well. I think these two cars have the best wheelbase options, and are the MOST ideal for a Turbo UTV race build.
Finally, an update on this project. From where we left off on part 3, a lot has happened, both good and bad. When part 3 ended, the RZR was running, but the air intake wasn’t set up and the power was down.
