Am I getting starry-eyed with this new Southwest whoop eater? It doesn’t make sense, just 3 months ago, I made a video saying that Speed wouldn’t be able to produce this SxS in 2020, and at the Sand Show, I thought people were crazy for putting down deposits on this new car.
Perfect dunes and perfect weather sum up this past weekend in Glamis. As most of you duners know, each trip is different for different reasons, the group you are with, the rides you go on, the carnage, the weather, but I will remember this weekend for being the best conditions I’ve witnessed in quite a while.
Here is some raw action from the sand drags in Glamis, Saturday night, February 15, 2020. The weather was PERFECT, and the drags were PACKED. Let us know in the comments if you made the video! We’ve got another Glamis video coming after this… stay tuned.
Every once in a while you take a different route that leads to some serious fun. Luckily we have friends that are VERY experienced duners, and they always put together flowy, fun rides. This one paralleled the highway, and we rode from Vendor’s Row, to Osborne Lookout, and eventually Gecko Rd.
Yes, Glamis is awesome, but did you know that right behind Gecko Rd, there’s some really fun trails and washes? The group at Coyne Powersports led us on a fun 65 mile loop ride from Holtville to Duner’s Diner, and back. When we first arrived, it looked pretty flat and kind of boring, but it was one of the most fun places I’ve ridden in a while.
Seizmik Pursuit Side Mirrors vs Chupacabra Offroad Cuero Mirrors Comparison. Our side mirrors have been selling well, and getting lots of praise from our customers. But how do they stack up against the competition? We went over the differences and similarities of the Seizmik Pursuit mirrors, which are also a nice option and similarly priced.
Although building these RZR’s wasn’t near as difficult or time-consuming as the race RZR build, it still took a lot of work, and so far, we’ve both been really impressed. Interested in the Tensor DS 33’s, Baja D lights, All tech tuned suspension, and Live Valve suspension
Chupacabra Offroad back in the desert out here at Superstition OHV in the Imperial Valley, CA testing out the Baja Designs light setups that we used on the ChupTurboTwins. We wanted to get out and do some light testing and check out the differences in the light setups that we used some similarities and differences to see what we thought was the best lighting pattern.
Another year in Glamis for the kick off of dune season. This marked my 7th year in a row of attending this event, and I don’t think the crowds have ever been this big. The drags extended to the trash cans behind Pad 1, and the hill was packed. This year, Polaris RZR brought out the Nitro Circus, which was really cool, we LOVE Travis Pastrana, and what the Nitro Circus has turned into.
The 1200R convex mirror provides a great range of sight behind you, and the mount design has been optimized for a sleek look, while retaining a maximum field of vision. The anodized Black finish will hold up for years to the elements.
These stylish #1 selling mirrors are a great value, that will look great on a custom RZR or Can Am, and work great for utility models. The convex mirror provides a great range of sight behind you, and the extreme amount of adjustability if you mount the mirrors up high, or down low.
