Sand Sport Super Show 2019 | Did we forget an “S”? CHUPACABRA STYLE

Chupacabra Offroad headed to the Sand Show last weekend in Costa Mesa, California. Simply put, there’s no other show like it in our industry, not even close. Over the last 5-7 years it’s really evolved into the SxS show, we counted maybe 10 sand cars, but hundreds of RZR’s, X3’s, Talons, Wildcats, and YXZ’s.

Thanks to winning a RZR at Tierra Del Sol, we won a RZR 2 seater Velocity, but sold it so we had budget to purchase a new Polaris Turbo S 4 Dynamix, 2 to be exact (our other Chupacabra Andrew Garvey also purchased a Turbo S 4 Dynamix).

Starting off, we chose the RZR platform as we had more access to better deals on the parts. If I started again tomorrow, I’d seriously consider an X3 2 seat platform as well. I think these two cars have the best wheelbase options, and are the MOST ideal for a Turbo UTV race build.

Chupacabra Offroad headed back to Southern Utah, Hurricane to be exact, to do some riding. This area is amazing, there is literally every type of terrain in one area! From the dunes and rocks of Sand Hollow, to the fast washes, whoops, and mud hills of Warner Valley.

I can’t believe it, what incredible luck. I was filming for our Vlog on the channel, and one of the stories was how good the raffle is at this event. A few years ago my parents won a lift kit for their Jeep, so I decided to throw in $50 bucks for the grand prize – a 2019 RZR Turbo S Velocity.
