Enjoy Your Ride! Top 5 Accessories for a More Comfortable Ride in Your RZR

Offroading is a tough sport, that isn’t suited to people who are afraid to get dirty. But let’s face it, even for the most hardcore off-road enthusiasts, being more comfortable makes for a more enjoyable day on the trail. Most RZR’s are missing many of the basics that can turn your SxS into a much better vehicle that you will love driving even more.

Staying out of the sun, rain and mud is essential for comfort. No matter if you upgrade your cage, add a roof rack, or keep it stock: you need a roof. Closing off your doors is also nice to keep you much cleaner, warmer, and safer. Click here for some roof options that are priced affordably:

Chupacabra Offroad sells lower door inserts, which screw right into the stock door, and bolt right up with our inner door bags without needing extra drilling or hardware. You can see more here: https://www.amazon.com/2014-2019-Pola…

The stock RZR seats are flimsy, cheap, and you have to cut holes in them to even properly use harnesses. Upgrading to suspension seats makes a huge difference on all day rides, and in rocky terrain. Brands like PRP have different styles that are wider, and have more bolstering, and as the main contact point of your SxS, trust us, it’s money well spent. Take comfort to the next level with seat heaters, for comfort once it gets chilly. Check out upgraded seats here: https://www.prpseats.com/product-cate…

Upgrading your stock shock springs could easily be #1 on this list! Polaris, CanAm, and all the other OEM’s have serious safety restrictions, and also cut costs with stock springs, that have to fit a “one size fits all” spring rate. Upgrading your springs and valving is some of the best money you can spend. We did a full breakdown and review of a Shock Therapy spring kit, in multiple riding environments, you can see more here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9DivK…

Whether hot or cold, adding a half or full windshield can help keep your warm, and out of the dust. Half windshields work great for how inexpensive and easy they are to install. If you want a full windshield, we recommend glass, but if you want Poly, ensure it’s hard coated, this makes them 30x more scratch resistant, and believe us, they scratch easy! Check out some options here: https://www.amazon.com/s?k=rzr+windsh…

Lastly, don’t hit the trails without some eye protection and a helmet. We STRONGLY recommend helmets, even if your state doesn’t require them. We prefer a helmet with a shield, similar to a sport bike or car racing style, the shield works incredibly well for keeping dust out of your eyes, and with some sunglasses underneath, you have a easy solution. If you are using a motocross helmet, or no helmet at all, make sure you pick up “Sand” motocross goggles from brands like Oakley, and Fox. These have a closed cell foam, which is better for keeping dust particles out of your eyes. Check out the goggles here: https://www.amazon.com/Oakley-L-Frame…

Here is a reasonably priced helmet we have used and love: https://www.amazon.com/PCI-Race-Radio…

Be safe when riding, pick accessories for comfort and we guarantee you will have a more enjoyable ride. Happy trails!

if you’re out riding you want to be comfortable here are five accessories to consider for a more comfortable ride I’m nicholson founder of chupacabra off-road first on the list is a roof and some door lowers or complete doors it should go without saying that you need some protection from the sun rain or whatever else mother nature is going to dish out lower doors keep you cleaner warmer and a little bit safer keeping brush from contacting you starting off with roofs you can go more cost-effective with a simple bimini top if you are not sure about adding on a custom cage there’s some aluminum options like the razor here full custom whatever you’re looking for you can find but don’t go on a ride without a roof and lower doors second on the list our upgraded seats the Polaris RZR is not known for having the most comfortable seat compared to other options you can gain a lot of comfort with some upgraded wider suspension seats from popular brands such as PRP xxx and others you can even get heated seat options for those cold rides which is a complete game changer third on the list and in terms of comfort could probably be number one on the list our upgraded shock springs unfortunately a lot of restrictions four of these OEMs require that these vehicles come off the showroom floor underperforming and what the shocks potential has the biggest problem are the Springs they generally end up being harsh over small chatter which over the course of a long day of riding really translates to a lot less comfort than you could have if you upgraded your Springs and/or valving of your shocks most of these shocks are very advanced they have lots of adjustment and adding at least a new spring kit can dramatically increase the comfort of your ride in all riding conditions next on the list is a windshield you’ve got all types of options from glass full poly full or half automatic that come up or down in any condition this varies greatly on where you ride but if you’re on the fence about trying one definitely at least do to yourself a favor and pick up a hard-coded poly half windshield it will come on and off in seconds without tools the hard poly code is 30 times more scratch resistant and you’ll be amazed how much warmer it will keep you and how much more dust it’ll keep out of your eyes on your next ride last on the list is eye protection we strongly suggest you wear a helmet ideally with a flip-down visor similar to a sport bike helmet this works well for keeping dust bugs everything out of your eyes you can wear sunglasses underneath but if you’re not going to go that route make sure you’ve got some high-quality motocross goggles particularly ones that are set up for sand where they’ve got a more closed cell foam which does a better job of keeping the dust and particulates out of your eyes you can also use a face mask a razor mask can work well for filtering the air that you’re going to be breathing if your back of the pack of a long dusty ride thanks for watching and if you’d like more content come visit us on the web at chupacabra off-road com on YouTube.com slash chupacabra off-road or Facebook and Instagram at supercobra offroad you
