Its race time! It's fun to be at a Baja race, right up next to the race action, and this was my first time at the San Felipe 250. Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth and bought some merch!

(2:12) saying but uh this is pretty cool Um about 8 a.m Just getting set up in the
(2:17) first trucks I didn't realize this Fred was telling me these guys will sleep in
(2:21) the cars overnight as they get all set up for staging And we got Looks like we
(2:26) got the number one qualifier Fred we got Tabo Bill Dula Yep He's up front I saw
(2:30) an interview he said he's going for the championship this year He's not holding
(2:34) back Um I think Bryce qualified second I

(4:47) It's race day man Contingency was fun The Baja Kitchen was serving up a lot of
(4:52) tequila last night and it was smooth I'm uh not 100% this morning but good times
(4:57) down in Baja It was really fun to be part of Contingency We sold a couple
(5:00) t-shirts and hats and uh gave away thousands of stickers So so far living
(5:05) up to the hype of a really fun event Um fun race to go check So we're here right
(5:09) outside the start Um get about ready to get my drone up in the air
(5:14) There we go We got a chopper in the air which means that we are close Um going
(5:18) try to track the race and it's fun to follow Baja Race now with the internet
(5:22) so we can get some live tracking and um see what's going on especially when we
(5:26) get down uh lower on the course So 250 mi race here San Felipe We're going to
(5:30) watch here We're like at race mile 3 as they just come off the start And then
(5:34) after we watch a lot of the fast guys come down We're going to head down to I
(5:37) think race mile 160 They're going to loop around the mountains here behind us
(5:41) I believe And then we're going to catch them there and hopefully catch them at
(5:44) the finish So it's going to be a fun fun day I've always wanted to do something
(5:47) like this And you know everyone's in their razors and their trucks and um
(5:50) yeah I'm going try to catch some get some good drone shots and um just enjoy
(5:54) the vibes down here So all we need is find some more tacos later on the day
(5:59) which I'm sure we will find and uh and uh enjoy race action I haven't been to a
(6:03) Baja race in four or five years so [Music]

(6:56) get a buck wild over this kicker So we had to come down here about 100 yards
(6:59) It's be a good section for filming We're going to see uh watching throttle
(7:03) control We just saw Hedger come through versus you know suspension whatever you
(7:06) want to call it You guys can argue in the comments but me and Anthony here
(7:10) we're going to see who's whose car is dialed with their throttle control and
(7:13) their suspension through these big boys First guy down right

(10:07) owning racing a 10 car and watching the UTVs go through this section then the
(10:12) 10ens it's almost like you know does the width does the the wheelbase uh help as
(10:18) much and overall speed and control um here's some slow-mo shots of some of

(14:32) desert um from race mile 210 down to 160 to watch a bunch of pit stops but we
(14:37) missed the the top six trophies already It looks like Ampudia just passed for
(14:41) the lead We've got another trophy truck coming at us right now which is probably
(14:44) seventh or [Music]

(15:51) unfortunately we missed the first four or five trucks I think those shots of
(15:55) the helicopter was Vosula senior who was I think the sixth and we just saw
(15:59) Cameron Steel go by number seven So we were late both times Late getting down
(16:03) to the bottom late coming back up Anyway should have just hung out and uh got
(16:07) some cool clips at Zoo Road and came to the finish Watch start and finish But
(16:11) all good man Um fun day Get a lay of the land and um
(16:15) got to do a little bit of off-roading there That one section was really rough
(16:18) but um we'll hang out have fun watch all the other classes come by It's going to
(16:23) be a long several hours I'm sure for those guys And um hang out and enjoy
(16:26) being a sibbe And the crowd's reaction That's like my
(16:38) leg How many out of 10 does that one zero Zero out of 10
