UTV Takeover 2024 - THE ROCKS WIN AGAIN | CHUPACABRA OFFROAD

Well, you want to play with the big boys, sometimes stuff happens. We got beat up pretty good on the 8 rated MAZE trail, but I also had a blast on my new 2025 Pro R. Here are the highlights of our trip!

Transctiption:

(0:00) "What's happening, YouTube? We're back again at Sand Hollow UTV Takeover 2024. It's Thursday morning, and we're heading out on the maze trail that we sponsored this year. I tried going through this once on the Can-Am but didn't do the big hill at the end, so that's my goal for today. My buddy Chad behind the camera, you guys have seen him on the channel, is a monster and will help babysit me. We’re looking to have fun and drive this thing for real, almost fully broken in. We’ve got some sticky tires on it and our mirrors, removed the rear sway bar, and are ready to see how the rock mode treats us."

(1:02) "Started life as a 2019 Can-Am X3 XRC, now on its third full build. A few more upgrades, like dual-shear billet knuckles, are planned. It's been built for crawling and hauling, potentially to compete in King of the Hammers. The car runs 37-inch tires on 17-inch wheels."

(2:18) [Guidance and off-road maneuvering commentary]

(4:06) "We had a slight mishap, but nothing major. A little cosmetic damage, but the car is drivable. Just part of rock crawling."

(6:37) [Navigating the course with instructions]

(8:54) [Encouragement and technical driving explanations]

(10:51) "First time driving the new RZR Pro R. Never driven a RZR before but excited to try it. This model has unique features and driving modes like Baja, Rock, and Comfort, with adjustable suspension and power modes."

(15:19) [Adjusting and testing vehicle features]

(20:37) "Observations: the RZR Pro R handles power and suspension incredibly well, floating over obstacles that would typically be challenging. It's a different experience compared to driving a buggy, with more confidence in rough terrain."

(22:26) "Looking ahead, I might try a Baja trip with a UTV. The Pro R’s visibility, power, and handling stand out. Adjusting to the suspension's capacity is a game-changer for longer rides without fatigue."

(24:02) "Starting Friday morning with the real off-roaders. After a big storm, rocks are wet, so it’s going to be interesting. Ran the car with lower PSI for better grip and made some adjustments, like removing rear sway bar links for added articulation."
