CHUPACABRA X3 SIDE EXHAUST- QUIETEST ON THE MARKET | CHUPACABRAOFFROAD

Since the release of our B2G, customers have always asked what the quietest exhaust is. We determined that it was time for us to release our own exhaust and we have put it against a couple other popular side exhausts on the market! What do you think? Let us know down in the comments!

0:00) hey everybody Nick Olsson Chupacabra Off-Road excited to introduce our new exhaust for you Can-Am X3 owners
(0:05) typically we would never get in the exhaust game but after selling our B2G storage system for the Can-Am X3 a lot
(0:14) of the feedback we have gotten is that they love the storage they love the product but can the exhaust be any more quiet
(0:24) to add the rear storage or any custom storage which is pretty popular on these X3s it does require the removal of the stock exhaust and the mounting of a side exhaust
(0:34) so the plus side is is that you're opening up a ton of space you're actually dropping a lot of weight compared to some of the options and then the downside is sound
(0:42) so I think a lot of people also that do purchase our storage unit they take these things on long storage long adventure rides 8 plus 10 12 hours a day
(0:50) and the last thing they want to do is hear a loud droney exhaust all day even on shorter rips
(0:56) I think it's become one of those things where the loud exhaust is definitely out of fashion
(0:59) so this is our new exhaust we sent the specifications what we're looking for to a local vendor
(1:04) so this is made and welded and fabricated 100% here in Phoenix Arizona
(1:08) we've increased the mounting structure a little bit with a custom transmission mounting bracket and we also have a sheet heat shield to offer
...
(12:00) improvement different sound you can hear the turbo a little bit more let me know what you guys think comment below but um definitely more quiet once you get up
(12:08) into the RPMs and that's really where it matters because that's when you kind of get that loud droney noise that gets annoying after a long day riding
(12:16) so one point I wanted to add to this video you'll notice when you saw some clips of the RPM muffler the design of it has it exit out of the turbo and inside of the frame rail
(12:25) which means it would not be compatible for our B2G storage system or any other custom storage system which takes up all that space inside of the frame rail
(12:33) so the vehicle we're able to borrow and use for this test that's what it had on it
(12:36) so I thought it was nice just to use it as another benchmark but that's just something to keep in mind
(12:40) if you are looking for our B2G or doing some type of custom bed delete if you will to optimize your storage of the Can-Am
(12:48) a side mount exhaust like these two are going to be your two most quiet options
(12:54) so let us know what you guys think if any other questions we didn't answer go ahead and comment below
(12:57) available to purchase now on our website
(13:01) thanks for watching www.chupacabraffroad.com if you want to learn more
