(0:00) "What's happening everybody, Chupacabra Offroad. I'm back. Last time I did a pod, it was with this gentleman. If you're not familiar, introduce yourself." "My name is Anthony, AKA back with another one, excited." (0:14) "Man, we haven't done these pods in almost exactly a year, and last time was the same time of year, new model releases. The Can-Am had just come out, and we were all wound up about the car. Maybe we should touch on that real quick before we get going, because we had some ideas on the look of it. I'll just say my piece real quick—you know, we didn't know anything, we didn't get to drive the car. I was surprised at how the car looked, and now that it's been a year, seeing them run in the dunes and drive around, I got to drive one. The car is pretty cool. I would definitely buy one. At first, when I saw that suspension, I thought I would never have that thing in my garage, but I moved on." (0:53) "What do you think, now that it's a year later? Have you driven one?" "I have driven one. I forget his name on Instagram, but he's from here. They're bad—house D. They handle really well, feel planted, and the power is insane. I love the DCT coming from my GTR experience. It’s very, very fun." (1:32) "The shifting, I wasn’t sold on it initially, but Evo makes changes to shift points. I drove it in slower terrain, but when it gets out, it breathes well. He was passing everyone, showing what it could do." (2:10) "Watching that clip of the Can-Am flying down the mountain at King of the Hammers—it was unbelievable." (2:35) "Yeah, the Can-Am release was strategic after Polaris. Everyone expects a Maverick R four-seater. I commented on my video if they would put the Maverick R with a CVT drivetrain at a different price point." (3:05) "What are your thoughts on Polaris dropping new releases?" "It's been exciting becoming an official Polaris ambassador. One day, they sent me a DM about an opportunity, and I was shocked—it was an ambassador role. Since then, it's been unreal. The launch, meeting Bryce Menzies, Tanner Foust, was crazy." (6:16) "I've known Chupacabra before all of this, and it's been cool to see you grow and expand with the products, mirrors, and covers. You deserve the recognition." (8:00) "There are rumors about Polaris releasing a DCT Pro R or triple R, but do customers want that? The CVT is simple, reliable, and when used properly, it's effective." (10:20) "The Pro R is competing with class 10 cars at races like Baja, winning, showing how capable these vehicles are. Even with CVTs, they finish the toughest races."

(10:54) ... it’s just crazy to think about where the technology is going and where it could go with these new models, especially with features like fully enclosed cabins and added comfort like air conditioning. The off-road industry continues to innovate and improve, and it’s exciting to think about what’s next, whether it’s more power, better suspension, or those creature comforts that make long trips more enjoyable.

(11:54) But it’s not just about new tech; the tried-and-true models are still impressive. Seeing them race in the Baja 500 or tearing through dunes shows how advanced these machines already are. Driving them, you get a sense of their robustness and how they're built to handle both casual trail rides and hardcore competition.

(12:44) The four-wheel drive capabilities in tight, twisting trails are amazing, eating up terrain that would challenge even some of the spec trucks. These cars hold their own in high-speed desert runs and tight, technical sections. Seeing them operate at top performance—clocking over 100 mph during testing—demonstrates their power and reliability.

(14:21) The advancements are not just for racers but for everyday enthusiasts who want a seamless experience transitioning between different terrains. For example, live valve suspensions allow vehicles to adapt quickly from soft to firm settings, improving handling in various conditions.

(16:05) It’s fun to consider how customizable these machines have become. From adding performance kits to adjusting suspensions for more plush rides, the possibilities keep expanding. This continuous refinement has enthusiasts excited for the future of off-road adventuring.
